• We're a specialty coffee roaster based in Stonehouse, Cotswolds.

  • We source traceable coffee, roast in small batches,
and deliver fresh across the region.

  • Our aim is simple: make quality specialty coffee accessible —
whether you're a café owner, a home brewing enthusiast,
or someone who just wants a proper cup in the morning.

How FOCCO Started

FOCCO was founded by Mati Canzani, who spent years working in technology and data before turning his coffee obsession into a proper business.

The background in tech shows: there's a lot of measuring, testing and refining behind every roast profile. But coffee isn't just numbers — it's sensory, intuitive, and subjective.

The goal was never to create coffee for an exclusive club. It was to roast quality specialty coffee that anyone could enjoy, whether you're deep into extraction theory or just need your morning flat white.

Focus on what matters to you. We'll handle the coffee.

  • Traceability

We know where our coffee comes from — specific regions, washing stations, farmer cooperatives. This isn't marketing; it's baseline practice for how specialty coffee should work.

  • Small Batch Roasting

We roast on an Aillio Bullet — a precision small-batch roaster that gives us exceptional control. Every roast is monitored, cupped and refined until it's right.

  • Honest Pricing

Quality coffee costs more than commodity coffee — that's reality. But we price fairly: no inflated margins, no luxury branding tax. Just honest pricing for traceable, well-roasted coffee.

  • Accessible Knowledge

We share brewing guidance, origin info and tasting notes — but we don't assume you need a coffee degree to enjoy good coffee. Information is available if you want it, not mandatory if you don't.

How We Source

We work with UK-based green coffee importers committed to transparency and direct trade relationships.

Every coffee we buy is traceable to specific regions, cooperatives or washing stations. We know where it came from, who grew it, and how it was processed.

We choose coffees based on quality and character — varieties and processes that express themselves clearly in the cup.

Our focus is on coffees that work across brewing methods: good as espresso, excellent as filter, forgiving enough to brew at home.

Our Coffee Range

Each coffee is chosen for quality and purpose. We roast what we'd want to drink ourselves.

We focus on 100% Arabica coffees: distinctive single origins that highlight variety, process and terroir and a carefully crafted house blend.

Brewing made simple

Good coffee doesn't require expensive equipment or complicated techniques. Fresh beans, good water, and consistent recipes get you 90% of the way there.

Our Brewing Guide offers practical starting points for espresso, pour-over, AeroPress, cafetiere and moka pot.

Our Commitment to the Cup

Based in the Cotswolds

We roast in Stonehouse and deliver across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

Local matters — not as marketing, but as practical reality. Shorter delivery routes mean fresher coffee for you, less environmental impact, and direct relationships with the cafés and people we supply.

Quality specialty coffee should be accessible to everyone — whether you're a café owner, a coffee enthusiast, or someone who just wants a proper cup in the morning.

That's what FOCCO is about. Focus on what matters to you. We'll handle the coffee
